How the Alliance works
Governance
The Alliance operates through an Executive Committee and Working Groups which bring together airports and industry.
The Executive Committee is responsible for setting the overall objectives and strategy for the Airports AI Alliance.
The Working Groups serve as knowledge-sharing hubs that support the different C-suite and senior leadership from airports.
The Secretariat, which is hosted by the Cities Today Institute, is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Alliance.
Working Groups
The Airports AI Alliance has Working Groups focused on strategy & change management; technology; and operations & passenger experience.
Airport executives work together in individual Working Groups through virtual and in-person sessions focused on the application of AI in different airport functions. But to support the integrated planning and adoption of artificial intelligence at management level, the Alliance provides reports and summaries drawn from all Working Groups supported by use cases and best practices for members.
In addition, representatives from the same airport join plenary sessions during the annual Airports AI Alliance Summit.
