On 23-24 October, the sixth edition of the Airport Leadership Forum will take place in London. The meeting will be hosted by Abhi Chacko, Head of Innovation at Gatwick Airport, and Steve Armitage, Head of Design & Innovation at Heathrow Airport.
Organised by the Cities Today Institute, this closed-door invitation-only Forum will gather a maximum of 20 airport leaders from the EMEA region in a private setting to exchange best practices through roundtable discussions, Q&A sessions, case study presentations and site visits. Select industry partners are invited to join the dialogue.
Programme
The programme for the roundtable meeting is based on interviews and research with the airport participants. Some of the key topics that have already been requested to be discussed include:
- Artificial intelligence: key considerations in building an AI strategy, emerging AI use cases, and the art of the possible.
- Data: how to build data infrastructure to enable optimized operations and future innovation.
- Robotics and autonomous vehicles: exploring case studies of the successes and challenges behind deployment and scale.
- Biometrics and the passenger journey: how can technology be implemented to transform the passenger experience.
The peer-to-peer organisation of the content and the composition of the group allow for active, challenging discussions that help airport leaders arrive with a series of issues and depart with solutions based on other airport or partner experiences.
